Chow time: banana peanut butter sandwich.


Here is a snack you can make before your hike. When you're finished making these sandwiches, place them in the refrigerator. These chilly snacks will be the perfect high-energy treat for any hungry hiker.

YOU NEED: 2 tablespoons lowfat peanut

butter 4 slices raisin bread 1 banana, peeled and sliced

YOU DO: 1. Spread peanut butter on 2

slices of bread 2. Arrange the banana slices over

the peanut butter. Top with a

bread slice. 3. Place the sandwiches on

a cutting board and cut them

into quarters.
