Arthur Andersen LLP, based in Chicago, was once one of the "Big Five" accounting firms (the other four are PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ernst & Young and KPMG), performing
 as part of their Fast Tech 50 awards program.

This program recognizes the top 50 highest-growth high technology companies in the Dallas area based on year-over-year revenue growth. Chorum Technologies' growth rate of more than 300 percent garnered the top 10 position for the company.
