Chores. (Our Own Pages).

Chores

   Papa wants me to know
   how it was long ago
when he had chores to be done.

He helped me build a pen
to put goats and pigs in
and I have to feed them, every one.

I shell the corn and mix the feed,
then I feed the animals and give them
   water they need.

It's lots of fun to learn the old ways,
even if I do live in computer days!
