Chordiant Adds Chuck Altomare as Vice President, Worldwide Engineering.


Former Business Objects, Informix A relational database management system (DBMS) from IBM that runs on a variety of Unix platforms. CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Chordiant Software, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHRD CHRD Color High Resolution Display ), the leading provider of Customer Experience (Cx[TM]) software and services, today announced that Chuck Altomare has joined the company as Vice President, Worldwide Engineering. He will report to chairman, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Steven R. Springsteel. Chordiant also announced that James St. Jean, Chordiant's former Vice President, Engineering, has been named Chief Technology Officer for the company. In his new role St. Jean will lead technology direction and strategy, oversee product management, and continue to focus on strategic acquisitions.

Succeeding St. Jean in his new engineering leadership role, Altomare will be responsible for all technical and product development activities across Chordiant's applications and solutions. By targeting global brand leaders dealing with high volumes of multi-channel customer interaction needs, Chordiant Software transforms their front-office results by creating real-time 1. real-time - Describes an application which requires a program to respond to stimuli within some small upper limit of response time (typically milli- or microseconds).
