He was the patriarch of the Walton family, one of the richest families in the world.  was still alive, one of the marketing strategies employed by Wal-Mart in its television ads was the proud claim that much of its merchandise was "Made in America."

That claim has changed to: "Always lower prices. Always." The "Made in America" claim has been replaced by inferior INFERIOR. One who in relation to another has less power and is below him; one who is bound to obey another. He who makes the law is the superior; he who is bound to obey it, the inferior. 1 Bouv. Inst. n. 8.  products marked "Made in China."

Shopping other retailers may mean more out of pocket, but it may also mean better-quality items in your basket. It may also give the other retailers bigger numbers in the overall game, and ultimately, more leverage in their competition with Wal-Mart.
