Choir of the year gets three TV dates.THE Blue Coat CE School choir is to appear on popular religious TV programme Songs of Praise on Sunday.The programme, to be screened at 5.10pm, will include a feature on the choir from the school based in Terry Road, Stoke stoke n. The feature will be about what's happened to the choir since it won the Songs Of Praise school choir of the year award earlier this year. It will include footage of a performances the choir did at the Ricoh Arena Inaugural events The arena became the venue for Coventry City's home games at the start of the 2005-06 season, following 106 years at the Highfield Road stadium. The first competitive football match played at the Ricoh Arena was against Queens Park Rangers on 20 August 2005, in before the start of a football match and at half time. The choir is also appearing on Songs of Praise on Sunday, October 26, and Sunday, December 14. |
