Its first two customers are Louisiana-based, Credit Bureau of Baton Rouge Baton Rouge (băt`ən rzh) [Fr.,=red stick], city (1990 pop. 219,531), state capital and seat of East Baton Rouge parish, SE La.  (CBBR) and Advantage Network Systems Inc. of Greeley Colorado, independent affiliates of one of the nation's largest credit bureaus. ChoicePoint will provide its credit bureau customers a suite of screening services including pre-employment and vendor screening among others.

"Clients who use credit information to evaluate risk now have access to public records and other proprietary information from ChoicePoint to screen prospective employees, vendors, tenants and community volunteers quickly and effectively."

ChoicePoint is kicking off the non-exclusive program to all local and regional independent credit bureaus across the nation. The company is actively seeking strategic partnerships with bureaus that want to strengthen their customer relationships with expanded services and product offerings.
