EquiSearch expands value-added applications of company's data

ChoicePoint Inc. (NYSE: CPS) announced today the addition of EquiSearch Services, Inc., a leading locator of lost shareholders, to the company's Business and Government Services offerings. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

EquiSearch, which was founded in 1988, is located in Westchester County, New York. The company has approximately 30 employees and is managed by Paul Goldstein, who will remain with the company as Vice President and General Manager. Their primary function is to contract with companies or stock transfer agents to locate lost shareholders for Fortune 1000 corporations and other public companies.
