Choice Hotels Board Promotes Joseph M. Squeri to Executive Vice President, Operations, and Chief Financial Officer.

) today announced that its board of directors has promoted Joseph M. Squeri to the position of executive vice president, operations, and chief financial officer, taking on additional operating responsibilities in the areas of franchise services, partner services and information technology.

Squeri previously had been executive vice president and chief financial officer and oversees the finance, franchise development and brand functions.

"With this move, we have created a more efficient and focused organization," said Charles A. Ledsinger, Jr., president and chief executive officer. "Better alignment among many of the key operating functions will enable us to target our efforts on our key goals of maximizing returns for both our franchisees and shareholders."
