) today announced its Board of Directors has elected David Goldberg as Vice President, Corporate & Brand Strategy and Treasurer. He previously served as Vice President, Strategy & Business Development. In his expanded role, Goldberg will oversee the brand portfolio, and continue to manage corporate strategic planning Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people.  and the company's treasury function.

, who joined Choice in July of 2000, has been named Vice President, Product Management & Development. He formerly served as Vice President, Brand Management & Strategies. In his new assignment, Hall will oversee development of new hotel prototypes, conversion and renovation design, and property inspections performed as part of franchise sales and renewals. He also will continue to manage the fair franchising function. Both executives will report to Joseph M. Squeri, Senior Vice-President, Development, and Chief Financial Officer.
