CHOCOLATE orangeflavoured stout was among some unusual brews showcased at the Great British Beer Festival The Great British Beer Festival (often shortened to GBBF) is a yearly beer festival organised by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). It presents a selection of cask ales and other alcoholic drinks from the UK and beyond.  yesterday.

The concoction is made by the Derbyshirebased Amber brewery and won a medal in the speciality beer category.

Chocolate Orange Stout scooped bronze, with two other brews with novel names winning prizes in the same section - Umbel Magna was awarded gold and Bumble bum·ble 1

Ruby Mild, which is made by Rudgate, based in York, was crowned at the show as the Champion Beer of Britain 2009.
