ALMOST 108,000 stray dogs were found in Britain last year, prompting plans to have every dog micro-chipped.

This week Cardiff launched a review of dog breeding rules in Wales which may include compulsory microchipping.

Wynnstay says staff at its Oswestry and St Asaph stores can inject the tiny microchips for pounds 12.98 per animal.

Pet Open Days, with microchipping, are also being held at Wynnstay's Oswestry store on November 20-21.
