ChipData Expands Global Distribution Efforts to Japan; Nissei Sangyo Signs Major Distribution Agreement with ChipData.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 20, 2001

ChipData, Inc., the Design Chain Management(TM) company, today announced it signed a distribution agreement with Tokyo-based Nissei Sangyo Company Ltd., a global trading company and subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd. Under the agreement, Nissei Sangyo will provide the full range of ChipData Design Chain Management products to the Japanese electronics market.

The relationship is the first step in ChipData's efforts to expand into the Asian market.
