In the first instance, Chip Davis's Romance II is the first album from American Gramaphone that I've been sent to review in some years, apart from their annual Mannheim Steamroller Christmasfests. Like much from this company the new release is dreamy dream·y adj. dream·i·er, dream·i·est 1. Resembling a dream; ethereal or vague. 2. Given to daydreams or reverie. 3. Soothing and serene. 4. , sentimental, a little drippy drip·py adj. drip·pi·er, drip·pi·est 1. Characterized by dripping; drizzly: a drippy, wet day. 2. Slang a. Tiresome or annoying. b. , easy to listen to, and almost totally forgettable for·get·ta·ble adj. Fit or apt to be forgotten: a movie with very forgettable characters. Adj. 1. forgettable - easily forgotten unforgettable - impossible to forget -- New Age Mystic Moods. But for an altogether sublime experience in love songs, DCC's Nat "King" Cole gold disc, originally recorded in 1958, is close to perfect. Like their previous Cole release, Love Is the Thing, this disc epitomizes the art of romantic music. It's breathtakingly beautiful and flawlessly reproduced. Also worth mentioning is that the DCC (1) (Direct Cable Connection) A Windows 95/98 feature that allows PCs to be cabled together for data transfer. DCC actually sets up a network connection between the two machines. disc represents yet another venture by an audiophile An individual who is very interested and enthusiastic about the sound quality of a stereo or home theater system.
