[Scottish Gaelic linne, pool, waterfall.] Wiley, President and Chief Executive Officer of Chino Valley Bank, announced today that the bank is expanding to the High Desert area of San Bernardino County with a new office in Victorville. Chino Valley Bank will acquire the Victorville office of Vineyard National Bank at 12380 Hesperia Rd. The transaction includes $4.5 million in deposits and $2.5 million in loans. It is expected to close by the end of September. Wiley stated that, "We have been interested in expanding to the High Desert for the past several years. It is an excellent market with tremendous potential. The local economy appears to be in the early phases of a recovery, and it will just get better and better in the future. We are looking forward to serving the financial needs of the people of Victorville and the High Desert."
