A CHINESE Chinese, subfamily of the Sino-Tibetan family of languages (see Sino-Tibetan languages), which is also sometimes grouped with the Tai, or Thai, languages in a Sinitic subfamily of the Sino-Tibetan language stock.  takeaway closed by environmental health officers has been allowed to re-open.

Principal environmental health officer Wayne Flowers said the notice was served to close the takeaway on August 4 after they found "serious health risks from a lack of cleaning, poor structural conditions and foods at risk of contamination".

He said the owner applied to the council on Thursday, August 6 for the court order prohibiting the use of his premises to be lifted and asked for a further inspection to be made.

"In response to the owner's request, a visit was made on August 6 at which time satisfactory improvements in hygiene were demonstrated and the premises were allowed to re-open.

"Regular visits will be made to check that satisfactory hygiene standards are being maintained, and we will be conducting an investigation into the reasons for the poor standards found during our initial inspection."
