) to sell its PEACOCK(R) product, a serial tomotherapy system designed for the treatment of various types of cancer with intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT IMRT Intensity-modulated radiation therapy Radiation oncology A format for delivering high-dose RT to regions–eg, nasopharynx, that are surrounded by radiation-sensitive areas; in IMRT, a broad radiation field is divided into hundreds of small pencil beams, ).

Today's approval by the SFDA provides NOMOS with the opportunity to immediately sell PEACOCK in China. The Company has established relationships with distributors and maintains service personnel in China who are prepared to market, sell and service PEACOCK. The Company believes that sales in China could occur before the end of the Company's current fiscal year on October 31, 2005.

PEACOCK(R) is the principal IMRT product of the Company's NOMOS subsidiary, consisting of the Company's proprietary CORVUS(R) treatment planning software and its MIMiC(R) multi-leaf collimator collimator (kol´imātur),
n a diaphragm or system of diaphragms made of an absorbent material and designed to define the dimensions and direction of a beam of radiation.

NOMOS is also in the process of registering in China its BAT(R) family of products for image-guided radiation therapy Image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) is the process of frequent two and three-dimensional imaging, during a course of radiation treatment, used to direct radiation therapy utilizing the imaging coordinates of the actual radiation treatment plan. , as well as Prospera(R) I-125 brachytherapy seeds for the treatment of prostate cancer.
