Online travel has acquired a share of 88% of SPs annual revenues. However, it is expected that the market share of the leisure tour line package services will see fast growth in the next five years, with the expected growth rate reaching 20-30%.

Online booking services have also influenced customers travel habits. Convenience and possible discounts have encouraged the fast expansion of online travel customer groups. In 2004, there were 15 million online travel service users in China, and in 2009 the number will reach 15.575 million, with an annual growth rate of 59.6%.
