Chinaplas 2003 meeting reset.

Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., the organizer of the 17th International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries (Chinaplas 2003) announced that the meeting, scheduled for September 9-12 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China, will be postponed until December 4-7 at the same venue.

Despite recent significant improvements in the containment of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in Beijing and China, the World Health Organization's travel advisory on Beijing and a number of other provinces in China still remain in effect. It is uncertain when these travel advisories will be cancelled.

Chinaplas 2003 is expected to include 600 exhibitors and eight pavilions, including Austria, Canada, U.S., Germany, Italy, Korea, U.K. and Taiwan. The show is exclusively sponsored by Euromap (European Committee of Machinery Manufacturers for the Plastics and Rubber Industries) in China for the 14th consecutive year.
