China-Biotics Appoints Mr. Henry Tai as Vice President of Corporate Development.

Brings 20-plus Years of Corporate Finance Experience to the Company

SHANGHAI, China -- China-Biotics, Inc. (OTCBB: CHBT), one of China's largest producers of probiotic products and food supplements that benefit and improve the microbial balance in the human body, announced that Mr. Henry Tai has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President of Corporate Development.

Mr. Tai's career includes over 20 years of experience in direct investments, corporate finance, and auditing in the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, and China. Mr. Tai previously served at UBS Capital Asia Pacific doing buy out transactions. Prior to UBS, Mr. Tai was the Vice President of the direct investment division of the Search group, a private investment company. Before joining Search, Mr. Tai was director of DBS Asia Capital (formerly Pru-Asia DBS), an investment bank, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions transactions. Mr. Tai had held positions with KPMG and is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
