The wind power industry had achieved the breakthrough in 2006, and is from the initial period to the fast development period. The new installed capacity was 1.334 million kw in 2006, and the accumulative LEGACY, ACCUMULATIVE. An accumulative legacy is a second bequest given by the same testator to the same legatee, whether it be of the same kind of thing, as money, or whether it be of different things, as, one hundred dollars, in one legacy, and a thousand dollars in another, or whether  installed capacity was 2.589 million kw, and the growth rate was 104.55%. The wind power installed capacity increased nearly 17 times from the year of 1997 to 2006.

The wind generating capacity was 2.7 billion kwh in 2006, up 67.4% year-on-year, while it just accounted for 0.095% in the total generating capacity, which influencing little on the total power demand and supply, and can only be the common power type supplement. However, in the remote areas, the wind power plays an important role to solve the problem without electricity.
