After Andersen he joined GTE's Internal audit department; he also held various other positions in the controllership, strategic planning, settlements, and budget organizations of Codetel/Verizon Dominicana in the Dominican Republic. He holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting & Finance from Inter American University of Puerto Rico The Inter American University of Puerto Rico —or Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico (UIPR) in Spanish, and often referred as Inter— is a private university system in Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1912 in San German, Puerto Rico. .

"With Nick joining our team it has enabled us to form CVC International, Inc., a provider of telecommunications services to CLEC's, ISP's, IXC's, PTT's, cable companies and other communication service providers," continued Bill Burbank. "We plan to capture high volumes of international origination and termination business from CLEC's and other TDM/VoIP based carriers. Through the licenses and relationships of CHVC's China subsidiaries, CVC International has unique and legal access to various origination and termination telecommunication products and services.
