), to develop and deliver education and training programs in China.

The partnership is part of CSU's mandate for increasing its global exposure and provides CVI with access to some of the leading educators and educational programs in North America to deliver to its clients in China.

"The principles of China Ventures present a unique, creative and entrepreneurial blend of Eastern and Western culture," said Jeff Munks, Assistant Dean of San Francisco State University's College of Extended Learning. Adding, "That, coupled with the strength and reputation of the California State University Enrollment
, particularly in its commitment to serve, resulted in a combination that offers tremendous potential for success."

The partnership will initially focus on providing training programs to China's financial services sector but it is expected that this will expand into other sectors as the relationship develops.

"Our partnership with SFSU and its ability to tap into the vast resources of the CSU system provides us with a solid education infrastructure to deliver quality programs through our training facilities in Beijing." said Ronald Shon President of China Ventures Inc., "In partnering with the CSU, we continue to fulfill our mandate of bringing the best technology and education solutions from North America to our clients in China."

The partnership was kicked-off when CVI's China based subsidiary, hosted a series of banking lectures to over 100 management from three of China's Commercial Banks. Dr. Yea Mow Chen, Chairman of the Finance Department at SFSU, presented the lectures, which were very well received. These lectures were the starting point for implementing a plan for a series of comprehensive bank training programs to be offered in China by CVI. Of the lecture experience in China, Chen said, "It was exciting because from talking to them [the bank managers], we are learning to understand what problems they have and what to do about them."

"With CVI's key contacts and SFSU's highly regarded training programs we will be able to attract and sustain a growing customer base in the financial services sector in China. China's upcoming entry into the Global Markets provides an ideal opportunity to enter into the banking community, as it will need to be prepared to compete with foreign banks. CVI and SFSU are in an ideal position to assist China's financial institutions to make the transition into the world marketplace," said Dr. Lucyanne Gieselman, Dean of Extended Learning at San Francisco State University. "We hope to expand our partnership with China Ventures into other areas in the near future."
