Ronald Shon, President, said "We are very pleased with sales for 2003. Our previous stated strategy of concentrating in a few niche areas - psychology, kindergarten curriculum and high school supplementary textbooks is paying off. We believe that volumes will continue to increase for the following reasons: First, a number of our products are in the 2nd or 3rd years of their product life and our experience tells us that textbooks sales are highest in the 3rd and 4th years. Second, through our professional knowledge of the demands of the Chinese educational system, we have been able to develop products expeditiously ex·pe·di·tious adj. This endorsement has opened up a market of 1.8 million kindergarten students. With the tremendous demand for quality educational materials in China and our demonstrated ability to meet market requirements, we believe our company will continue to grow." C.F. Zhou, Chairman, remarked "These outstanding results indicate that we have delivered on our stated business objectives and have started to deliver on some of the potential opportunities we have spoken about throughout last year. We believe that we can continue to grow both, by anticipating market demand and supplying new and innovative products to satisfy these demands and also by acting as a consolidator acquiring other companies in our industry."
