China Ventures Inc. Announces Proposed Issuance of Shares for Debt Settlement and Signing Bonus.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 17, 2003

China Ventures Inc. today announced that it proposes to issue 2,500,000 common shares at 11 cents per share Cents per share

Two hundred thousand common shares at 11 cents per share have also been proposed to be issued to Mr. Gary Gumley, who has recently joined the company as an educational products manager. These shares are proposed as a signing bonus. Ronald Shon, President said "I am very pleased to welcome Mr. Gumley as part of the team. The proposed issuance is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange TSX Venture Exchange
