China Southern Airlines (NYSE:ZNH) (HKSE:1055), the largest airline in The People's Republic of China, www.cs-air.com/en, is pleased to announce that it will return its 3rd weekly transpacific flight between Los Angeles and China, starting Sunday, August 3.

China Southern suspended this third weekly flight during the recently concluded severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) crisis in Asia. The return of its third transpacific flight is indicative of the airline's rapid return to its pre-SARS flight schedule.

China Southern Airlines is currently operating twice weekly transpacific service -- Wednesday and Friday evenings -- and continues to operate this service on a code-share basis with Delta Air Lines, www.delta.com.
