China Southern Names New GSA for Southeast U.S. Cargo Representation.

:ZNH) (HKSE HKSE Hong Kong Stock Exchange :1055) -- www.cs-air.com/en -- the largest airline in The People's Republic of China, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Miami-based Global Air Cargo, Inc., as its new General Sales Agent A General Sales Agent (GSA) is a sales representative for an airline in a specific country or region. Typically, the GSA is responsible for selling all products of the airline in its region which includes flight tickets and cargo space.  (GSA (1) (Global mobile Suppliers Association, Sawbridgeworth, U.K., www.gsacom.com) A membership organization of suppliers of GSM products and services. The announcement was made by Wayne Chen, General Manager, Chicago Branch Office, China Southern Airlines. China Southern Airlines operates Boeing 747-400 freighter service from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport O'Hare International Airport is an airport located in Chicago, Illinois, United States, 17 miles (27 km) northwest of the Chicago Loop. It is the largest hub of United Airlines (whose headquarters is in downtown Chicago) and the second-largest hub of American Airlines (after  to Shanghai and Shenzhen every Tuesday and Thursday.

With more than 20 years' experience in International freight sales, Global Air Cargo will be China Southern's professional general sales agent company in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama. "Global Air Cargo will have a dedicated sales team to focus on China/USA cargo in major metropolitan markets with significant potential, including Dallas, Houston, Austin, Miami and Atlanta," said Mr. Chen.

He added that China Southern's new relationship with Global Air Cargo, "will strengthen our offline sales activities in this region and enlarge China Southern's coverage in these markets which have significant traffic for China. China Southern Airlines currently has cargo drop off stations in varied offline cities but with the addition of Global Air Cargo, we now will have our own sales team to meet customers in person in these important markets."

Chen added that the new partnership, "would not just enlarge China Southern's current sales coverage in the U.S. but also to prepare for future growth in the Central and South America marketplace."
