 of China, has today been named the Best Air Cargo in China at the 1st Annual Cargonews China Awards, presented as part of the 19th Annual Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs).

China Southern Airlines Cargo was recognized by a free vote of the readers of Cargonews China for excellence in its field and based on a numbered ballot ensuring a strict single vote by the registered readers of Cargonews China.

The winners of the First Annual Cargonews China Awards and the 19th Annual AFSCAs were announced tonight in the grand ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel Hong Kong on the Kowloon waterfront with a gala dinner and awards ceremony taking place in front of an audience of more than 400 key decision makers from shippers and the transport and logistics industry of Asia.

"The Cargonews China Awards and the AFSCAs represented a terrific opportunity to celebrate the growing and diversified cargo industry in Asia as well as one of the very best opportunities to network with leading shippers and top industry executives in an atmosphere where the best in our industry is being honoured for excellence," said Mr. Huw Harries, Publisher, Cargonews China.

China Southern Airlines owns and operates a fleet of Boeing 747-400 aircraft servicing cargo/freight customers in Europe and the United States to varied Chinese markets.
