 of China, will be honored by The World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, as one of the 100 leading companies from the emerging markets and the only Chinese airline to be so recognized from The People's Republic of China.

China Southern Airlines will be in attendance at The World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting 2000 in Davos, slated to begin Monday, January 31.

In Davos, on behalf of China Southern Airlines, will be the carrier's President Yan Zhi Qin. &uot;On behalf of the more than 15,000 dedicated employees and the entire management team of China Southern Airlines, we are thrilled to be honored with this prestigious and generous tribute,&uot; said Yan.
