China Southern Airlines Named 9th In Top 500 Chinese Informatization Enterprises; Mr. Wang Changshun Honored With `Most Foresighted Informatization Leader' Award.

China Southern Airlines (NYSE:ZNH) (HKSE:1055), the largest airline in The People's Republic of China, has been listed as the 9th best informatization enterprise company in China according to a new survey posted here.

China's National Informatization Evaluation Center (NIEC) released its first annual list of the Top 500 Chinese Informatization Enterprises in 2003...and China Southern Airlines Company Limited (CSN) was ranked #9 among the Top 500 companies in China.

This was the most extensive company review of its kind in China, and more than 2,300 Chinese business enterprises participated in this appraisal.

Mr. Wang Changshun, Vice President, China Southern Air Holding Company & President of China Southern Airlines, was named the "Most Foresighted Informatization Leader Award" and Mr. Zhang Jianmin, Assistant President, China Southern Airlines & General Manager of the CSN IT Department, was honored with the "Excellent Informatization Executive Award."

The research and evaluation used to evaluate Chinese enterprises was based upon the "Chinese Enterprise Informatization Evaluation Index System" with results finalized after extensive research to list the Top 500 Chinese Information Enterprises.
