 of China, is pleased to announce that -- starting June 1 -- all flight attendants and pilots from China Northern Airlines China Northern Airliners (simplified Chinese: 中国北方航空; pinyin: Zhōngguó Běifāng Hángkōng), was an airline based in Taoxian International Airport, Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China.  and Xinjiang Airlines will wear the same summer uniform as China Southern Airlines' flight attendants.

"This is just another step forward in total integration of the China Northern and Xinjiang Airlines' daily operations into one unified China Southern Airlines," said Mr. Li Kun, Vice President, China Southern Airlines.

Mr. Li explained that China Southern Airlines is actively taking part in merger affairs with China Northern Airlines and Xinjiang Airlines. At the conclusion of this merger, China Southern Airlines' aggregated assets will top $6.8 Billion (US), its fleet will enlarge to 187 aircraft and the route network will swell to more than 600.

"As an enormous West-North-South triangle network takes shape covering the entire scope of mainland China, China Southern will continue to take the vanguard position with the most extensive domestic route network in China ... while ascending to become Asia's second largest airline group," added Mr. Li.

Currently China Northern Airlines has 1,115 pilots and 627 flight attendants and Xinjiang Airlines has 438 pilots and 332 flight attendants.
