China Natural Gas to Announce Record Second Quarter 2006; Financial Results during First Week of August; The Company Will Host First Earnings Call to Discuss Quarterly Results.


NEW YORK -- China Natural Gas, Inc., (OTCBB OTCBB

: CHNG CHNG Change , website: www.naturalgaschina.com) the first China-based natural gas public company traded in the U.S. capital market, today announced that the Company expects to report financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 during the first week of August. In addition, the Company's management team will be hosting their first conference call.

Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Qinan Ji commented, "After a successful two-week road show in New York, Connecticut, Boston, San Francisco, and LA, management had the opportunity to present our company to existing and potential institutional investors. In an effort to establish effective communications with our shareholders, China Natural Gas will begin holding quarterly conference calls to discuss the company's financial results and address investor questions. We plan to report record second quarter financials results in early August."
