Professor Phillip Pardo has been working in central Asia for the past eight years. He is currently Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of The Kazakh British Technical University in Almaty, Kazakhstan after serving since 2000, in the post of Associate Dean of the Kazakh Institute of Management, Economics, and Strategic Research in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Professor Pardo has participated in numerous private consulting appointments in the area of strategic and business planning, bank finance, and project evaluation. From 2000 through 2003, as Director of the Rice Group, Central Asia LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol he supervised the development of business plans and valuations for M&A transactions. From 1998 to 2000, as Administrative Director of LeBeouf, Lamb, Greene, and MacRae in Almaty, he was responsible for overseeing corporate administration.
