This book is a collection of 11 papers concerned with research in sports medicine, past and present, in China. A variety of topics are presented, including studies on rehabilitation rehabilitation: see physical therapy.  after cartilage injury, abnormal electrocardiograms in athletes, psychological studies of Tai Ji Tai Ji can refer to:
  • Taijiquan, a martial art often referred to as Tai Chi;
  • The taiji, a Chinese philosophical concept for which the martial art is named.
 Quan, and sports nutrition Sports nutrition is applied in most sports training, however it is most dominant in strength sports (for example weight lifting and bodybuilding) and endurance sports (for example cycling, running, triathlon).  research.

Although this book is interesting from the standpoint of cultural perspectives, I cannot recommend it as a reference that would be useful for physical therapists. Very little information on treatment of injuries-either traditional Chinese methods or Western methods-is included. Some of the papers may be of interest to basic researchers in exercise physiology exercise physiology
