Although this book is interesting from the standpoint of cultural perspectives, I cannot recommend it as a reference that would be useful for physical therapists. Very little information on treatment of injuries-either traditional Chinese methods or Western methods-is included. Some of the papers may be of interest to basic researchers in exercise physiology exercise physiology n. The study of the body's metabolic response to short-term and long-term physical activity. or anatomy; the book is expensive, however, so anyone interested in reading those papers may prefer to procure them through a medical library.
