China's Solar Panel Industry has Consistently Registered 25 Percent Growth in Exports for the Past 10 Years, and this Growth Rate is Expected to Continue in 2005.

DUBLIN, Ireland -- Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/c24194) has announced the addition of Solar Panels in China to their offering.

China's solar panel industry has consistently registered 25 percent growth in exports for the past 10 years, and this growth rate is expected to continue in 2005. At US$496 million, exports from January to October 2004 already increased 50 percent over the US$329 million worth of exports for the entire 2003.

The severe shortage of solar cells solar cell, semiconductor devised to convert light to electric current. It is a specially constructed diode, usually made of silicon crystal. When light strikes the exposed active surface, it knocks electrons loose from their sites in the crystal. , the main component of solar panels, has limited Chinas production of solar panels. Suppliers, nevertheless, have found ways to deal with the shortage that have enabled them to turn out an overwhelming 150MW of solar panels in 2004 compared to a mere 13MW in 2003.

This report provides:

--In-depth profiles of 19 leading solar panel makers, based on factory tours A factory tour is a free tour sponsored by the company providing the tour to promote their products, contrary to an escorted tour or a self-guided tour where there usually is a substantial cost involved because they are businesses within themselves.  and interviews with senior managers. Benefits of this report:

--Get a sound understanding of the differences between crystalline Like a crystal. It implies a uniform structure of molecules in all dimensions. For example, phase change technology, widely used for rewritable optical discs, uses crystalline spots (bits) to reflect the laser beam. Amorphous, non-crystalline bits do not reflect light.  and amorphous Unorganized or vague. A lack of structure. For example, the amorphous state of a spot on a rewritable optical disc means that the laser beam will not be reflected from it, which is in contrast to a crystalline state which will reflect light.
