The new Boeing 747-200 service -- operated on a wet-lease basis -- will begin immediately through the end of December 2002. China Southern Airlines is now able to offer 747 freighter service every day (except Monday) between Chicago and China with six weekly 747-400 or 747-200 flights between Chicago's O'Hare International Airport O'Hare International Airport is an airport located in Chicago, Illinois, United States, 17 miles (27 km) northwest of the Chicago Loop. This added cargo now totals 10, round-trip 747 freighter flights between China and the USA each week.
