Chilliware, Inc., an emerging developer of Linux-based applications for businesses and consumers, today announced the debut of xFAXtor, an affordable ($49.95 SRP SRP - A data link layer protocol. ) new fax software package that makes faxing from the Linux-based desktop a veritable snap.

The feature-packed xFAXtor includes a Cover sheet and Headline Wizard, and fully integrates with Chilliware's Nexxus contact manager application to allow users to readily send and receive faxes from their Address Book. xFAXtor provides direct accessibility to incoming faxes for instant viewing, and gives users the option of printing any fax with ease, or saving it as a document for later viewing. The versatile xFAXtor is also compatible with legacy Linux programs like `mgetty' and `sendfax', but leaves behind the configuration hassles traditionally associated with those programs.
