Teresa Ludovico has specially adapted Hans Christian Andersen's famous fairy tale fairy tale Simple narrative typically of folk origin dealing with supernatural beings. Fairy tales may be written or told for the amusement of children or may have a more sophisticated narrative containing supernatural or obviously improbable events, scenes, and personages for top European company Teatro Kismet kismet alludes to the part of life assigned one by his destiny. The international cast perform in English and tell the popular story with the help of aerial acrobatics acrobatics Art of jumping, tumbling, and balancing. The art is of ancient origin; acrobats performed leaps, somersaults, and vaults at Egyptian and Greek events. The acclaimed Italian company is visiting Warwick Arts Centre Warwick Arts Centre is a multi-venue arts complex at the University of Warwick in Coventry, England. Warwick Arts Centre in Coventry is the largest arts centre in the Midlands, attracting around 280,000 visitors a year to over 2,000 individual events embracing music, drama, as part of a short UK tour and the Snow Queen has already wowed audiences in Greece, Italy and France. The arts centre says: "It is an enchanting piece of theatre that takes you on a journey exploring themes such as loss of innocence and the enduring power of friendship." The spine-thrilling family show follows Gerda as she sets off to find her beloved friend Kay when his heart is frozen and he is taken prisoner by the beautiful, icy Snow Queen. Afraid but determined, she sets off on a heroic quest to rescue her friend, encountering fantastic creatures and overcoming dangers until, in a heartstopping climax, she confronts the terrifying force of the Snow Queen herself.
