THE weather forecast for Coventry is likely to be chilly with lots of blizzards as The Snow Queen blows into the city.

The result is a spectacular show which will delight young children aged eight and upwards.

The spine-thrilling family show follows Gerda as she sets off to find her beloved friend Kay when his heart is frozen and he is taken prisoner by the beautiful, icy Snow Queen.

Afraid but determined, she sets off on a heroic quest to rescue her friend, encountering fantastic creatures and overcoming dangers until, in a heartstopping climax, she confronts the terrifying force of the Snow Queen herself.

The Coventry visit also includes free drama and theatre workshops.
