Children to party in park.Council bosses are throwing a free party for youngsters in a Tyneside park. Activities are set to include arts and crafts arts and crafts, term for that general field of applied design in which hand fabrication is dominant. Party in the Park has been organised by Sure Start groups across Newcastle and will take place in the city's Exhibition Park on Wednesday June 15, 11am-2pm.
