Children get a safety lesson.To help teach children the importance of safety on site, George Wimpey North East took part in the informative Crucial Crew held at RAF Leeming RAF Leeming is a Royal Air Force station in North Yorkshire, UK. It opened in 1940 as a bomber station during the Second World War. In 1943 the station was assigned to No. 6 Group Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) with a sub-station at RAF Skipton-on-Swale. in September this year. This followed the success of last year when George Wimpey was invited to take part in the initiative. The event was packed with commonsense com·mon·sense adj. The children were put into groups where they toured the areas on show and were given vital information on how to handle themselves in the different situations.
