Children can't pay for greed.

THE country's children must not be deprived because of reckless reckless adj. in both negligence and criminal cases, careless to the point of being heedless of the consequences ("grossly" negligent). Most commonly this refers to the traffic misdemeanor "reckless driving.  lending by the banks and the failure of politicians to do their job.

It appears that next month's Budget will target the Children's Allowance - a benefit which has been the bedrock of families for decades.

Ordinary people cannot understand how the Government can find billions of euro for the banks but have not enough to meet child benefit payments.

Our children are our future and they must not be made suffer for the sins of greedy greed·y
