Children are not born evil.

Elaine attended Braidhurst High School in Motherwell.
 

I APPLAUD moves to raise the age of criminal responsibility in Scotland Scotland, political division of Great Britain (1991 pop. 4,957,000), 30,414 sq mi (78,772 sq km), comprising the northern portion of the island of Great Britain and many surrounding islands.  from eight to 12.

It is to our shame that we still have laws that consider a child of eight could be guilty of murder and tried in an adult court.

It's too easy to brand a kid as "evil" if they have committed an evil act.

I never thought that those disturbed, damaged boys who commited the appalling murder of Jamie Bulger knew what they were doing.

These were boys abandoned and dragged up by their families - or not - and for me it should have been their parents who were on trial.

No child is born evil.
