In Blue's Treasure Hunt, kids ages three to six team up with Steve and his Blue's Clues pals to help search for the treasure chest that holds the keys to the Land of Great Discovery, a captivating cap·ti·vate

place filled with treasures and surprises. During this original adventure, preschoolers help Steve, Blue and friends find and solve new Blue's Clues; collect a series of treasure scrolls hidden by a lively new character, Treasure Bug; play learning games; meet delightful friends and explore enchanting locations.

As kids successfully solve each Blue's Clues game and collect all the treasure scrolls, they sequentially discover the favorite treasures of their friends Paprika paprika: see pepper. , Mailbox and Magenta Magenta, town, Italy

. Children are then granted entry to the Land of Great Discovery, a special place with many more activities to explore including: The Discovery Kit which enables kids to create their own special place within the Land of Great Discovery by personalizing it with painting and drawing tools and decorating it with more than 400 animated and non-animated, pre-made stickers; The Treasure Hunt Computer Game which features 100 pre-made games for different skill levels; Create a Computer Game which allows preschoolers to design their very own Blue's Clues computer game with up to 10 customized levels.

Blue's Treasure Hunt is the first Blue's Clues software to feature Steve's neighborhood, including the school and park. Additionally, never-before-seen locations and skidoos expand Blue's playful world of learning. Kids join Steve and Blue in a variety of places, such as: Recycle Town, where kids help the mayor, Al Luminum, by gathering items to recycle and Kitchen Art Museum, a cheery place of whimsical sculptures and paintings that are jumbled up and now need to be put back in order.

The two-disc CD-ROM also includes multi-level learning and creative activities, with adjustable levels of difficulty, in each of the three treasure hunts. Children strengthen visual discrimination and memory skills helping Orange Kitten keep track of school supplies. They practice early math and number recognition skills as they search for the Hickory Dickory Dock This article is about the nursery rhyme. Blue's Treasure Hunt enables children to enjoy a tailor-made experience by incorporating their name, favorite color, fruit and animal into the gameplay. For example, trees in the game will feature players' favorite fruit and alphabet refrigerator magnets will spell their names.

Blue's Treasure Hunt is available now on hybrid CD-ROM for Windows 98/95 and Macintosh for $29.99 at retail stores nationwide, through secure online transactions at humongous.com or nickjr.com, or by calling (800) 499-8386.

setting. In each episode, Steve invites the audience to help him solve the day's puzzles, which come in the form of blue paw print clues left by his energetic, animated girl puppy, Blue.

Innovative and interactive, Blue's Clues encourages its young viewers to play along with the show by presenting them with questions to answer and games to solve. The dialogue and animation in every episode are specially timed so that Steve pauses to "wait" for the kids to answer his questions, direct his next move or discover a clue. Each clue that is found and puzzle that is deciphered helps to build the young audience's confidence while teaching them how to think about various concepts.
