Children's Wonderland, Inc. Receives Two Additional Awards From the Veterans Administration for Intergenerational Care; Increases Center Capacity by 70%


LOS ANGELES, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Children's Wonderland, Inc. (Nasdaq: CWIC CWIC - Compiler for Writing and Implementing Compilers. Val Schorre. One of the early metacompilers. Compare Meta-II. ) announced today that it has been awarded contracts to build and operate two additional intergenerational care centers on the grounds of Veterans Administration Medical Centers. The two new sites are in Sepulveda, California and Richmond, Virginia.

This brings to a total of five such intergenerational centers, located on VA campus facilities, which provide care for children and seniors in a single facility. Overall, these awards will increase enrollment capacity by 1,000 children and seniors. Such growth represents a greater than 70% increase from the Company's capacity at the time of its Initial Public Offering on May 6, 1996.
