Children's Health System initially chose Eclipsys' computerized patient record, clinician desktop and the interdisciplinary documentation solution primarily to improve nursing workflow and serve as a nursing recruitment and retention tool. However, the health system expanded its selection to include knowledge-based order entry after seeing SunriseXA's capacity to transform workflow across the entire healthcare continuum and provide the utmost assurance of patient safety.
