Linthwaite Methodist Players give away tickets for their dress rehearsal each year to charity. The charity can then sell the tickets for the event and raise cash. AFASIC, one of the groups to benefit from the Examiner Charity Challenge, also organised a raffle in which the children won prizes. A total of pounds 75 was raised.
