Event co-chair Mack Strong Mack Carlington Strong (born September 11, 1971 in Fort Benning, Georgia) is a former National Football League fullback for the Seattle Seahawks. High school years will be on hand with several of his teammates. "Teaming up with the Seahawks to put on this annual event is one of the highlights of our calendar," said Debra Ronnholm, Childhaven president. "The money and awareness raised at this event build momentum for our programs and the fact that the Seahawks play such an important role in that demonstrates their commitment to the community and its youth." Proceeds from the evening will go to furthering programs aimed at educating parents in what Childhaven calls P.R.I.D.E skills, a system focused on: Praise of appropriate behavior, Reflection of appropriate behavior, Imitation imitation, in music, a device of counterpoint wherein a phrase or motive is employed successively in more than one voice. The imitation may be exact, the same intervals being repeated at the same or different pitches, or it may be free, in which case numerous types of appropriate behavior, Description of appropriate behavior, and being Enthusiastic. "Our P.R.I.D.E approach uses technology much like that of a quarterback's earbud to coach parents through situations with their children," said Ronnholm.
