Committee chairman, Councillor Brian Hogg, said: "The park area is on the main thoroughfare of the whole estate and we believe that's the right position.

"We don't believe the anti-social behaviour has anything to do with the park.

Councillor Mike Findley, who took the complaints to the council, said: "At least the councillors had the decency to have a site visit, but something still needs to be done about the anti-social behaviour. I will contact the area management department to see what action can be taken."
