Army Career Ashfaq Kayani is a graduate of Military College Jhelum and was commissioned in the Pakistan Army in August 1971 in the Infantry's Baloch visited Muzaffargarh Ranges on Thursday to witness ongoing training activities of Army Air Defence units. The days activities involved live firing of several air defence weapons on the inventory of Pakistan Army. These included short range Surface to Air Missiles, shoulder fired weapons and Anti Aircraft guns. According to ISPR ISPR Inter-Services Public Relations (Armed Forces of Pakistan) ISPR International Society for Paranormal Research ISPR International Standard Payload Rack ISPR International Society of Photosynthesis Research press release, the COAS appreciated the standards displayed by the weapon crews of different units of Army Air Defence. He emphasized the importance of air defence in todays warfare and the need to remain abreast with modern requirements as regards up-gradation of equipment, as well as training, to defeat a wide threat spectrum.
