 cleaning fabrics and packaged wipes engineered to meet specific market needs from Chicopee, a leader in the industry with a rich legacy that included 60 years as a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary.

Part of PGI's wipes group, Chicopee is adopting a new market-driven approach centered on meeting the needs of customers in four key markets: building care, food service, healthcare and general purpose.

"A decade ago, the selection of wipes was very limited," said Scott Tracey, vice president sales and marketing Chicopee and Consumer Pro ducts of Chicopee. "Today we offer more than 40 different types of wipes for food service alone.

"As the market grows and matures, we are addressing the different needs of customers in key market segments for engineered wiping See wipe.  products that are designed with specific performance characteristics for the industrial and consumer applications they are used in," he said.

New offerings utilizing this process include DuraWipe XTRA XTRA Extra
XTRA X-band Thin Radar Aperture (US DoD)
XTRA Xml Transaction Architecture
, an extended use, heavy-duty industrial cleaning wipe made with a highly absorbent absorbent /ab·sor·bent/ (-sor´bent)
